Attractions COPY OF Brecon Beacons National Park

Located 1100ft (330m) above sea level, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with superb views of the highest mountains in South Wales. The National Park Visitor Centre (also known as the Mountain Centre) is a great place to collect information about the National Park, walks, activities and places to visit in the area. You're welcome to walk on the adjacent the common to get the best views of the highest peaks, or head out into the mountains themselves. While you're here, why not enjoy a snack or cooked lunch in the tea rooms? Or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

We have helpful and friendly staff on duty every day. We are used to typical (and unusual!) questions about the National Park. We have a wealth of knowledge about the popular sites and the lesser known gems of the area.

If you need help getting here, getting around or simply want to know how high the highest peak is - we can help. If you want to phone us, you can reach us during normal opening hours on 01874 623366. At busy times we may take your details and call you back.
